Hyderabad, June 1: Telugu Desam Party, TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy has been arrested when bribing a nominated member of the state assembly, Elvis Stephenson on Sunday evening at Secunderabad and has taken into custody.
TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy, a lawmaker of Chandrababu Naidu (CM) on Sunday has been taken into custody for bribing a nominated member of the state assembly who is representing the Anglo-Indian community, Elvis Stephenson. Anti-Corruption Bureau ACB caught these people red-handedly and arrested 3 members who are at the site.
Two other people, including a Bishop, Harry Sebastian, and Uday Simha have been arrested yesterday along with Revanth Reddy for bribing.
It is said that Elvis Stephenson gave a complaint to Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) regarding this and the police team took right action immediately by arresting all the three involving in bribe. Revanth Reddy along with his assistant went to Secunderabad where Stephenson is residing to give the lumsum amount of money and are caught by ACB instantly.
There was a video recording for the conversation that went on between Mr. Reddy and Mr. Stephenson in his home. The ACB has taken them to custody and moved to headquarters that is located at Banjara Hills. Before taking him to Magistrate, his statement was recorded for safety.
