The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates to apply for its Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme in Public Administration, Rural development, Sociology and Development Practice for the academic session 2016.
RGNIYD has invited all eligible, the candidates who are interested in applying for various PG Courses like Master of Arts in Social Innovations and Entrepreneurship, Development Policy and Practice etc.
Institute fellowship
The institute offers a fellowship of Rs 13,000 per month plus Rs 24,000 contingency per year for full-time scholars who are non-recipients of any other fellowships from any source.
Eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45 percent marks (For SC/ST candidates with a minimum of 40 percent marks) in any discipline from a recognized university.
- For M.Sc. Counseling Psychology the applicant should have studied a minimum of 2 papers in Psychology at the Undergraduate level.
***Candidates whose final year results are awaited can also apply.

Admission for all the above Master degree programmes shall be in the qualifying marks in the undergraduate programme.
UG Programmes
The candidate will be selected on the basis of performance in screening Test/Skype Interview.
