Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRB) has successfully conducted online examination for recruitment of Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) posts. Exam held for various Zonal Railways / Production Units on Indian Railways.
Various Posts that Include under Railway NTPC Exam are as shown below:
Enquiry-Cum- Reservation-Clerk (ECRC), Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Apprentice (TA), Junior Accounts Assistant-Cum-Typist (JAA), Asst Station Master (ASM), Traffic Assistant and Senior Time keeper) and Senior Clerk-Cum-Typist.
The examination is has given in 4 sections i.e. Arithmetic, Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness & General Science. The overall exam was moderate to difficult. Out of all the sections, reasoning and Arithmetic sections were easy and scoring, while other sections was easy to moderate.
Aptitude and basic reasoning in these exams is given easy. As the general knowledge is like ocean, we cannot expect from which the questions will be asked. So GK section is little bit tough.
Time duration of the Exam:
The duration of computer based test (CBT) will be 90 minutes (120 minutes for PWD candidates with scribe)
Number of Questions given: 100
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions.
Negative Marking: 1/3rd for every incorrect answer.
Exam Paper given in languages: English, hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri, Malayalam & Urdu (15 languages).
RRB NTPC 29th March 2016 Exam Review – Sectional Wise review:
Exam is conducted in 3 shifts i.e morning, afternoon, evening. Questions of 3 shifts are displayed or updated in the RRB website as soon as the exam completed. We advised all aspirants to check the question paper of 28th March exam and get awareness of examination. Here we are providing you the review and analysis of exam held on 29th March 1st Shift to 3rd Shift.
Arithmetic Section:
The section is given easy to moderate. Candidates can attempt 19-22 questions. The questions are mainly asked from Number Series, Profit Loss, Data Interpretation, Speed, distance and Time, S.I. and C.I and problems on simplification.
Reasoning:
This section is little bit easy. Aspirants can attempt 20-24 questions. The questions are given from Verbal and Figure related Questions, Questions on relationships, Odd One Out. One can attempt more number of questions.
General Knowledge:
The General Awareness section is moderate. One can attempt 20-23 questions. The questions covered all the areas in current affairs.
General Awareness & General Science Questions:
The overall section is easy. A total of 20 questions are asked from General science, GK 20 questions and Current Affairs 10 questions.
