Mumbai: Saala Khadoos Director Sudha Kongara Prasad has finally opened up about the movie Saala Khadoos and more nervous about the movie release date.
‘Saala Khadoos’ is all set to release this Friday and the director Sudha Kongara Prasad is more nervous with respect to the release. The female director said that the bi-lingual sports drama took her through hell while making the movie. The director finally spoke on the movie.
She said, “We faced lots of barricades while filming the movie. We literally went through hell to find someone who trusts us blindly. We struggled a lot to get this done. We approached Madhavan with the script in 2011 when he was shooting for the movie ‘Vettai’.
Madhavan said he will promise in 48 hours whether he would sign the movie or not. Exactly 48 hours later, he called and told me, ‘What a script you’ve written. I’m in.’ But I told him that I am still yet to get a producer as the movie has to reach more people.
And Madhavan was the main reason for bringing ‘3 Idiots’ director Rajkumar Hirani on board. Without Rajuji, the movie would have been a pretty low budget flick. ur last producer literally dumped us midway and when things were going from bad to worse, Rajuji stepped in.”
