Chennai: Saiyami Kher finalized to act in Maniratnam next Tamil movie. AR Rahman may compose music for this untitled Kollywood project.

Maniratnam has been the talk of the town for past few days. After success of ‘OK Kanmani’ the director confirmed he will direct his next project with two lead actors and actresses. Initially Shrutihaasan and Karthi were confirmed. Later Dulquer Salman also got inside.

But things got interesting as Shrutihaasan walked out and later Karthi himself refrained. Nani got inside the board all of a sudden. The casting had lots of chaos and Manirtnam never opened about all the chaos happening. He just confirmed his next will have Ravi Varman as cinematographer and AR Rahman as music composer.

The female lead problem continued further. Nithya Menon and Keerthi Suresh were the initial choices, but later both of them were rejected. This caused even more expectations. Now an official confirmation has been made that Saiyami Kher will be doing one of the female leads.

Saiyami Kher is just two movies old and she made her debut with ‘Rey’ in Telugu and later she acted in Hindi movie ‘Mirziya’. But she got all attention when she modeled for King Fisher calendar.
