Pune, June 16: Sanjay Dutt again applied for a 30-day parole to the divisional commissioner. Currently he is in Pune Yerawada Central prison. Here is the complete report from Divisional Commissioner, Pune.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who imprisoned in the Mumbai Serial blasts case, has again made an application to divisional commissioner for a 30-day bail. The senior officials of divisional commissioner confirmed Sanjay Dutt application and said that it was being processed.

Dutt was arrested in the case of illegal possession and destruction of an AK-56 rifle in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. The 52 years old actor has been serving five year sentence in Yerawada Central prison in Pune, he started his punishment in May, 2013.

Dutt got bail on December 24, 2014 to bring New Year in his home and he had required for an extension to his furlough but it was denied by prison authorities. He was required to complete remaining 42-month jail term. Meanwhile he again applied for bail.

Divisional Commissioner Vikas Deshmukh said regarding this that “ Sunjay Dutt has filled for a parole and the decision about the bail will be taken after verifying the reasons for his application.”

So far his sentence has been dotted with repeated bails and furlough, in October 2013 he got leave and it was extended to 14 days. Later again he was granted for bail for 30 days in December, 2013, it was also extended twice. For that time his sister had stood as guarantor and deposited Rs15,000 as surety. He has been out of jail for 146 days since his sentence.
