State Board of Technical Education and Training has formed to speed up the process of development of Technical Education. Director of Public Instruction (D.P.I.) used to head the Technical Education in AP. After formation of Telangana state the DPI has continued the SBTET as one board for both the states. It conducts various entrance examinations and semester examinations for all the students. Now the State Board of Technical Education is the only board which will conduct the Technical examinations. For the year 2015, board conducted the Diploma C09 examination in the month of Oct/Nov 2015. All appeared candidates in this exam are waiting for the result.
