Chennai: Ace director Selvaraghavan next movie which is based on horror genre has finally got title named as Nenjam Marappathillai. Gautam Menon produces the movie and Santosh Narayanan scores music.
Director Selvaraghavan upcoming Tamil horror movie is named as Nenjam Marappathillai. The movie went on floors yesterday. Nenjam Marappathillai is a famous movie title during the early 70’s era. Selva has once again grabbed the same title.
The movie features actor-director S.J.Surya and Regina Cassandra in a lead role. Regina already did female lead in movies like Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and Rajathandhiram. Recently Nandita Swetha has joined the team and she will be doing parallel female lead.
Nandita Swetha earlier did some notable movies like Ethir Neechal, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, and Mundaasupatti. She also did a small role in Vijay’s Puli. There were few reports that the movie is a remake of classic Nenjam Marappathillai.
But the director made it clear that it is entirely an original script and he also assured it is not going to be a Horror genre as everyone predicted. Gautam Menon produces the movie and Santosh Narayanan scores music.
