The director of Robo 2.0 Shankar and filmmakers are investing a whopping amount of Rs 100 Cr on VFX work for the movie.

Shankar’s Robo 2.0 movie single version alone requires Rs.300 crores of budgets. Shankar’s ‘Sivaji’ scored Rs.100 crores net while ‘Robo’ collected Rs.250 crores. ‘Robo 2’ is aimed at breaking the full run net collections Rs.700 crores of Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’.

Rumors suggest that seven companies from Hollywood are working on the sequel of Robo graphics and the predictions are already suggesting that the movie would be India’s highest grossing film.

Earlier, Super Star Rajinikanth and Shankar garnered a lot of attention with their 2010 release Enthiran graphics. The movie’s records were broken by Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’. ‘Robo’ was made with a whopping budget of Rs.150 crores then.  It is a known fact that the sequel of the movie is currently being filmed.

Rajinikanth and Shankar have completed two schedules of the movie and are all set to kick start the third schedule by the end of May. Amy Jackson will be seen playing the lead role in Robot 2.0 with Akshay Kumar in the role of an antagonist. Keep watching the space for more updates.
