The makers of Gautamiputra Satakarni are planning to approach gorgeous actress Shriya Saran to play the female lead role.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni first schedule has been completed recently in Morocco. The schedule didn’t require heroine since they canned action sequence on Balayya and Kabir Bedi. As we know that Balakrishna and Shriya Saran previously paired up in 2002 film Chennakeshava Reddy.
As per source, the makers are finding difficulties as search is still on for heroine for the flick. Nayanthara was the original choice for the film being directed by Krish, but she couldn’t allow call sheets owing to other commitments. Then, Anushka name was heard. Freshly, fading out heroine Shriya is rumored to finalize to play the role of a princess in the biopic film. Her last big Telugu film was Gopala Gopala opposite Venkatesh and she also had a cameo role in t Oopiri.
A report in a leading daily says that the female lead will have to play a princess with a characteristic grace and they felt Shriya fit the bill perfectly. Known for her expressive face and killer dance moves, this will be the first time Shriya essays royalty in a film.
To be produced by Rajiv Reddy and SaiBaba, this film is gearing up for a Sankranthi 2017 release and is in the second leg of shoot.
