Chennai: Simbu Beep song controversy does not end and running, he have two cases filed by one women’s association of Coimbatore and another defamation case has been filed against him. He will appear Court soon any time on this Issue.
The controversial Beep song sung by Simbu was released on the net last December. It created a huge uproar over the foul language used in the song and also against derogatory remarks against women. Anirudh has scored the music for that song. Various women’s association had strongly condemned this song. The women’s association of Coimbatore has filed a case against the actor Simbu in Kovai Race Course Police Station.
The court has summoned both Simbu and Anirudh to appear in person for the enquiry. In the same way, another defamation case has been filed against Simbu and Anirudh Simbu and Anirudh in the Chennai Central Crime Branch’s Cyber Crime department.
This department had also summoned both the stars to appear in person. Simbu has applied for anticipatory bail in both cases. Since the law under which he is booked are all eligible for bail, the judge said he may not need an anticipatory bail.
Simbu’s lawyer has now filed a petition saying that it is against the Supreme Court ruling to book a person for the same crime at two different places. So he pleaded the court to stay the order that Simbu must appear in person at both Chennai and Kovai. It should also grant some time for Simbu to appear at one of these places in person. This petition will be taken in court for hearing soon.
