Chennai: Naveen Chandra and Rupa Manjari starring Sivappu movie directed by Sathyasiva will be released on 24th Spetember at Kollywood Tamil cinema theaters.
Sathyasiva who directed ‘Savaale Samaali’ and ‘Kazhugu’ has also directed ‘Sivappu’. Naveen Chandra has done the male lead and Rupa Manjari will be seen in female lead. Rajkiran and Thambi Ramiah has done crucial roles and N.R.Raghunanthan has composed music.
Madhu Ambat has handled cinematography and Kasi Viswanathan has handled the cuts. The Tamil movie is produced as a joint venture by Muktha R.Govind and ‘Punnagai Poo’ Gheetha under Muktha Films and SG Films Pvt Ltd banner.
It is said that the movie has a sensitive theme and it is conveyed in a bold manner. The sources said that movie is based on Srilankan issue. According to sources, the story revolves around the lives of Sri Lankan refugees who work as construction workers in Tamil Nadu.
A.Venkatesh, Selva, ‘Poo’ Ram are also part of the cast. The movie was completed long back in 2012 and right now the movie has got a release date.
