Director Dolly to direct Pawan Kalyan Next film and S J Suryah opt out of the project due to his personal reasons.
After Sardaar Gabbar Singh Pawan Kalyan immediately launched his project with SJ Suryah. Director Surya really wanted to team up with Power star and he has completed his script work.
According to the reports, Suryah, who recently received laurels from critics for his performance in the Tamil film Iraivi, has been flooded with acting offers in Tamil and Telugu as well. The filmmaker has even given his nod to play the antagonist in Mahesh Babu’s next with AR Murugadoss. It would have been very difficult for him to juggle between his acting assignments and direction. So, he pulled out of the PK project.
Also, Surya himself suggested some names to take over this film. But Power star and producer Sharath Marar have decided to offer the project to Kishore Kumar aka Dolly, who had earlier directed Pawan. He was also convinced that he’d be able to do justice to a remake as he has done so earlier and hence, this decision was made.
The film, which stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead, is slated go on floors in the last week of July.
