Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University SMVDU Admissions to B.Tech / B.Arch / M Tech Program for the Academic Session 2016-17. The university offers UG and PG courses of various technical domains.
Interested and eligible candidates can download the application form through official website and apply for the required admission. Firstly, the candidates need to pay the application fee through DD of Rs. 1100/- drawn in the favor of register, SMVD University and payable at Katra/ Jammu. If the candidates applying for more than one programs need to fill separate application forms to each. Also, eligible for the internship of Rs. 12400/- per month
The selection for the M.Tech will be based on the Gate Score followed by the interview and for the B.Tech & B.Arch courses done through counseling by the Central Seat Allocation Board or JOSAA and all are secured by the student in the JEE main Examination.
SMVDU Admissions Educational details:
B.Tech (4 years): Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering
As per the eligibility criteria of JEE Main-2016
B.Tech in Industrial Biotechnology: Out of total 30 seats, 20 seats to be filled based on the JEE rank, the balance seats will be filled on the basis of the rank obtained by the students in recognized university or its equivalent.
SMVDU may conduct an Entrance Test for filling up of vacant seats if any. Mathematics in 10+2 examination with an overall minimum of 60% marks will be required.
