Special Olympics World Games 2015 are opening today 25th July and the event will be held up to 2nd August , 2015. It will be the largest sports and humanitarian event in the World.
Special Olympics is an international organization founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver in 1968, it releases the human spirit through the transformative power and joy of sports every day around the World. For this year the large event is going to spot at Los Angeles from 25th July to 2nd August, 2015.
Los Angeles is welcoming around 6,500 athletes from 165 nations to compete in 25 Olympic type sports at 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games. It is the largest stage for athletes to exhibit their courage, determination and spirit of sportsmanship. And it is celebration of talents, determination and achievements of those with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympic games 2015 are going to held from 25th July to 2nd August 2015 with an opening ceremony at Los Angeles on 25th July and Michelle Obama will be attending the opening ceremony. The Special Olympics games takes place for every years and it is the place for athletes who are with intellectual disabilities to represent their countries in sport.
It is the largest stage for 26 types of special Olympic games in venues throughout the Los Angeles region. 7,000 athletes from 170 countries along with 3,000 coaches are going to participate in large event and expecting that 30,000 volunteers and 500,000 spectators at special Olympic games 2015.
