Pigeon with Microchip Landed in Gujarat | Anti-Terrorism Squad Begins Survey

A microchip on a pigeon’s leg and a ring with some code tied to another leg landed in Gujarat.

It is said that the bird landed near Indo-Pak coastal border in Gujarat. And the team of Anti-Terror Squad started probe and forced the local administration to inform the Union home ministry about the suspecting landing.

After this a report was sent home ministry, forest department, the coast guard, Anti-Terror Squad, forensic experts and they were asked to examine each and every that is written on it.

After a long time investigation and research also nothing could be found from the time the pigeon was first seen i.e. March 20.

During the process of investigation the pigeon that landed was kept in the custody of Vadinar Marine police station.

On March 20 about five nautical miles away from the shore of Salaya Essar jetty, the pigeon was seen and now into interrogation. The place at which the bird found is under construction in Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka district.

Insights

The pigeon at jetty was found with a chip with ‘Benjing Dual’ word written on one leg and a number ‘28733’ written in a ring in the other leg.

On wings, ‘Rasul-Ul-Allah’ was found written in Arabic language

Further investigation was carried out by the coast guard but nothing was found related to that info.

The chip and the ring were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Gandhinagar for examination.

Finally it was declared that the breed of pigeon that is found is used for racing in the countries of Gulf.

‘Benjing Dual’ is one of the races there. It might have missed out of a ship somewhere in the deep sea and in search of drinking water might have reached the shore of Salaya Essar jetty.

Nothing serious but the security team of Gujarat is alert.
