Chennai: Veteran actress Sridevi will be seen in Princess role for tomorrow release Puli movie and she will be seen for 30 minutes on the screen in which Shruti and Hansika are also playing lead roles.
Tamil big budget fantasy film “Puli” starring Vijay, Shruthi Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Sridevi had released today on October 1st world-wide. According to latest news, veteran and beautiful actress Sridevi will be appeared for only 30 minutes in the film.
Sridevi played a key role in the film Puli and she will be seen in a character of Queen to the kingdom. The English Vinglish actress made her re-entry into south industry with this film after a long time. She believed that, this fantasy and comedy entertainer would be establishing her as a top artist in southern film industry.
Puli was much anticipated film of South Industry after Baahubali. Chimbu Deven was directed in this film under banner of SKT studios. It has spectacular visuals, CG works and lot of animations. It costs a budget of nearly Rs. 150 crore and this is the big budget movie of Tamil up to now.
The audiences are debating about her performance in Puli and compared with Ramya Krishnan in Baahubali. Distributors of Hindi version are using Female Superstar Sridevi for the promotion of the movie because she is well known face of Bollywood and audiences of Bollywood are not aware of the popularity of Vijay.
Sridevi is playing the role of Queen Soumya Devi and mother of princess which role is played by Hansika. Sridevi entrance will be in the second half of the movie and her screen time is only for 30 minutes. She will also do sword fighting with Kollywood star Ilayathalapathy Vijay which is going to be highlight in the movie.
