Hyderabad, July 8: Sriya Reddy signed for a bilingual Telugu movie that is directed by Priyadarshan on AIDS awareness. Sriya exclaims that this is a powerful character.
Indian film actress, Sriya Reddy will be seen in a Tollywood movie that is given by Kanchivaram director Priyadarshan. This is an upcoming bilingual of Priyan and Sriya Reddy has been selected as the female lead role which is based on AIDS awareness. She is so much excited about this film as the story is based on a society related issue.
Priyadarshan and Sriya Reddy already have a National Award-winning film in their history and now in the film making of story based on AIDS awareness. If gossips of Tollywood are considered to be true, Prakash Raj is also starred in this film. And Sriya says that she feels glad to work with him and didn’t reveal more about her character.
The upcoming movie of AIDs awareness will be starring three roles in main, Sriya, Prakash Raj and one more who is not yet finalized. The film makers are trying to deliver a social message on the subject of AIDS. There is no love story in the film and Sriya is not going to pair up anyone in the film. It is a noticeable point that the movie is going to have 14 new faces in almost lead related roles.
In a press meet, Sriya said, “The film revolves around three main characters — Prakash Raj, me and another actor who is yet to be finalized. The film will be about the subject of AIDS and will have a social message. Everyone will be able to relate to it. I am not paired opposite anyone, as the script doesn’t really have a love story between the main characters. Fourteen new actors will be making their debut with the film”.
She added few words to her conversion by saying, “What we intend to do with this movie is to take it to the heights that Kanchivaram, which was critically acclaimed and did well on the festival circuit, didn’t really reach”.
The actress is much excited about the social messaged Telugu movie and is also waiting for Andaava Kaanom film in which she played the main protagonist.
