Chennai: Upcoming Kollywood project Achamindri starring Vijay Vasanth is being directed by Rajapandi is set to feature Srushti Dange to shake legs with Vijay for a song.
Vijay Vasanth is choosy in his scripts after acting in multi-starrer movies like ‘Chennai 600028’, ‘Nadodigal’ and so on. ‘Ennamo Nadakuthu’ which released last year changed his fortunes. The movie was a successful one in his career. To continue the success he joined hands with same team yet again for the movie titled ‘Achamindri’.
This movie is produced by V.Vinod Kumar on behalf of VVV records produce this movie. Rajapandi who directed ‘Ennamo Nadakuthu’ is directing this project too. ‘Megha’, ‘Enakul Oruvan’ fame Srushti Dange does the female lead role. She pairs opposite Vijay Vasanth.
The movie has a strong supporting cast of actors likeMahima, Prabhu, Rahman and Saranya Ponvannan. The movie will feature two villains namely Bharath Reddy and Jeyakumar. Director Samuthrakani who has been choosy in his scripts has selected this movie and he is also doing a crucial role. KL Praveen will handle the cuts and A.Venkatesh is the cinematographer. Premgi Amaren is the Musical composer.
Regarding the movie, Director Rajapandi says, “We were happy as a unit when ‘Ennamo Nadakuthu’ tasted success. To prove ourselves once again we joined for ‘Achchamindri’. The movie will have a message and will also be a commercial entertainer. Srushti Dange and Vijay Vasanth recently danced in Pollachi for a ‘Kuthu’ song which begins as, “Unna paathathaala pasiyae illa..” The dance moments were heavy and gladly both the lead actors did it perfectly.”
