Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level SSC CGL 2016 Tier-I examination dates postponed from May to August. Check SSC CGL 2016 Tier I Exam Dates Postponed Notification @ ssc.nic.in.

The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) Tier 1 exam postponement notification (for Advt No. 3/1/2016–P&P-I.) is available on the SSC website. As per previous schedule, Staff Selection Commission scheduled to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016 (Tier-I) on SUNDAY the 8th & 22nd May, 2016 and if necessary, on subsequent Saturdays/Sundays, in different batches.

Notice: The latest news is that, the exam has been postponed and would now be held in the month of August 2016. The decisions of changing the dates are taken due to larger interest of candidates appearing this examination. The exact date of this exam would be hosted on the commission’s website. CGL Ter 2 exam will take place on August 13 and August 14 as per schedule without any change.

Exam Phases: The candidates who had applied for this examination are advised to check the notice here. Generally, the commission will conduct the exams in three phases ie., Tier 1, Tier II, Tier III. The selection of the candidates is based on all the three phases.

The candidates who clear the Tier I exam will call for Tier II exam. Those who clear the Tier II exam will be called for the Tier III exam and those who clear the Tier III will be called for the Interview or final round of selection. Generally the final round may contain personality test/Interview/computer proficiency test/skill test/ doc verification and those who clear it will be absorbed into the respective posts.
