Suryia’s Yaadhum Oore Event Inauguration

Chennai: Tamil actor Suriya Yaadhum Oore Event will be started in this first weekend to help Chennai floods victims and the actor adopted three villages around Chennai and Cuddalore districts.

Actor Suriya, the founder of Agaram foundation is looking forward to this weekend, not for a film release, but the event of his Yaadhum Oore.

It is known that Suriya is busy doing the needful for the flood-hit victims in and around Chennai and Cuddalore districts. Now as a part of this venture, he has initiated the Yaadhum Oore, which is a two-day conference in the first weekend of January, organized jointly by the press media of The Hindu, Puthiya Thalaimurai as well as Surya’s Agaram Foundation.

The objective of this initiative is to bring together administrators, volunteers, and experts under a single platform. Speaking about it, the actor mentions that the recent floods have taught the people much more than anything else for looking the road ahead.

He said that through their foundation, he had adopted three villages from the Tiruvallur district as these people are not able to get official aid. Chennai needs to be sensitized, says the Actor. The conference will focus on water conservation and environmentalists for pooling in experts to find scientific solutions for preventing future disasters.
