Hyderabad Girl Syeda Falak to Represent India at Asian Karate Championship

Hyderabad, July 15: Hyderabad girl Syeda Falak is going to represent India at the 13th Asian Karate Championship in Yokohama, Japan from September 4 to 6.

Syeda Falak, 22 years old girl from Hyderabad is going to represent our country India in the 13th Senior Asian Karate Championship which is going to be held in birthplace of Karate i.e. Yokohama, Japan from September 4 to 6. She is the first and only Telanganite who qualified to denote India at World Karate Championship and also the first Telanganite to with the Senior National Karate Championship.

Syeda, the confident girl from the Old City of Hyderabad said that “It’s going to be a thrilling experience as the event is being held in the birthplace of karate and I am all geared up for the challenge”. Falak missed the chance to compete in the last Asian Games for which she had actually qualified because of wrangling between various groups at the national level.

Syeda who born in Hyderabad was the karate learing at the age of 12 years, she represented her school and college in several major tournaments and made a name for herself. Her father is the best supporter for all her accomplishments. She has own multiple titles at national and international level.

As a part of preparation she recently joined in a 25-day camp in Coimbatore under the tutorship of the famous Kumite coach Antonio Oliva Seba of Spain.
