Singapore: Symantec Corp is planning to hire cyber security professionals in Chennai which is its centre above 200 next year for solving the increasing the cyber threats globally.
Symantec Corp is decided to double the number of cyber security professionals at Chennai which is its centre for more than 200 above the next year, and has an urgent requirement to expand capacity for solving the increasing cyber threats globally, Symantec Corp today announced this thing.
Symantec will have an expansion plan of USD 50 milling business, in this, the Chennai security operation centre which is the largest in Asia Pacific and Japan region is the part of it. This is also including in Singapore SOC Started today.
Peter Sparkes who is the senior director of Cyber Security Services at Symantec said to the journalists that they will double their cyber security proficient in the Chennai SOC in one year. Chennai is a Symantec’s biggest security centre in Asia-Pacific and Japan area, Tokyo, Sydney and Singapore are also including it and operates 24 hours a week.
Sparkes noted that the major expansion in Chennai was mainly maintained by the experts who have high skills technically expertise available in the country.
“With the investment of the people and security IQ in Asia Pacific and Singapore, Symantec visibility is increasing into the area and showing us to boost the security of the customers capabilities and protect their significant details and assets” Samir Kapuria, a Senior Vice President and general manager of Cyber Security services at Symantec added.
