Mumbai: Meghana Gulzar’s Bollywood thriller Talvar featured by Irrfan Khan and Tabu will have to premier at Toronto International Film Festival which is to be held in the month of September 2015.

Talvar hindi thriller movie starring Irrfan Khan and Tabu is to premier at 40th Toronto International Film Festival. Reports say that this film festival will be held in September 2015. Tabu acted as Police Officer and Irrfan Khan as Khooni Naukar in this upcoming mystery thriller.

Konkana Sen Sharma, Avika Gor and Sohum Shah are also playing lead roles in the film that is comletely based on Aarushi Talwar murder case. The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) will be held in between September 10 and 20. Earlier, the film is titled as Nyodda and later it was changed to Talvar.

As per latest news,  film is selected by  members of Toronto International Film Festival and it will be presented as the part of the “Special Presentations” said by Meghana.

Director Meghana is the daughter of much-admired lyricist Gulzar and old-timer actress Rakhee. She is looking forward to the films premier at 40th Toronto film fest. She also said, “Talvar is very special movie to all of us and I could not have asked for anything better for the film”.

This is a mysterious thriller based on Noida Double Murder Case and film has good technicians with Gulzar’s Lyrics, Vishal Bharadwaj’s music and Pankaj Kumar who is famous for his cinematography in Haider and Ship of Theseus.

As a part of selection, Talvar will also compete for the people’s choice award at TIFF. The film was produced by Jungle Pictures and VB Pictures. Priti Shahani, Jungle Pictures president said, “Talvar is a film which makes the viewer’s fall and think over many sides of life. We are very glad about the screening of film in TIFF and also looking for audience feedback”.
