Meghna Gulzar was directed this murder thriller based on real life of Arushi and it was released on 2nd October 2015 worldwide.
The movie is produced by Junglee Pictures, Talvar is releasing today. The story was written by Vishal Bhardwaj who also gave screenplay to the film and produced it. The movie was initially titled Nyodda but later was changed to Talvar. The movie was taken to the 2015 Toronto Film Festival where it got amazing response.

Talvar Movie Review
Talvar is mainly based on the real story of Arushi murder case who is Noida based girl and complete story revolves on the murder mystery. Every scene and frame was interesting and director Meghna did it very well.
There has been a lot of media coverage and speculation surrounding the Aarushi-Hemraj murders and it’s evident that director Meghna Gulzar did her research before making Talvar. The film has a gritty documentary feel to it. However, Vishal Bharadwaj, who has written Talvar’s script, did more research, which is why there are details of this gory case that are being revealed for the first time in this film.
According to Bharadwaj and Gulzar, no characters or information in Talvar is false. Sometimes, to make the film tighter, a few people have been blended into one character. Talvar claims of a brilliant lineup of actors. Konkona Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi – who looks startlingly like Rajesh Talwar — play the parents, Nutan and Ramesh Tandon.
Irrfan plays Ashwin Kumar, who heads the first CBI team that investigated the case and gives the parents a clean chit. Sohum Shah, last seen in Ship of Theseus, puts in an excellent performance as Vedant Choudhary, Kumar’s wingman who later stabs him in the back. Tabu makes a special appearance as Kumar’s wife, which is one of the unnecessary sections of the film.
Unfortunately, Gulzar struggles to draw powerful performances from Sen Sharma and Kabi, which is a shame since they are powerful actors. Tabu is clearly there to add star value, but ends up being redundant. Overall all the characters played well and story narration and direction is very impressive.

Storyline in Brief
This is a real story which is based on murder of Noida girl Arushi in 2008. Arushi Talwar was murdered. 45 year old servant of the home was first assumed to be the one who killed her, but later the police was shocked to find his dead body too. After many investigations, who is finally proven embarrassed for her death is all about the story.
Music
Vishal Bhardwaj gave wonderful music and basically Back Ground Music is main highlight in the film. The album consists of 4 songs.
Star Cast Performance
All the characters played well up to their mark. Especially CBIO officer role Irrfan Khan steals the show and Konkana Sen Sharma gave marvelous performance. The film was interesting with lot of suspense and twists. Tabu special cameo also worth watchable.
