Dhanush’s production Tamil movie Visaranai bagged international recognition after this Kollywood movie awarded with Amnesty International Italy’s “Cinema for Human Rights”.
Vetrimaaran’s Visaranai movie seems to be the most expected movie in Kollywood after success of reputed ‘Kakka Muttai’. Movie was recently screened in 72nd International Venice Film Festival. It has now bagged an award under the title, Amnesty International Italy’s “Cinema for Human Rights”.
‘Visarnai’ has now made Indian film fraternity proud with all these laurels that it is bringing home. Riccardo Noury, spokesperson Amnesty International Italy says, “Many other films in competition had not dealt various aspects of human rights with sensitivity and originality. But Visaranai taken from the experience of a survivor, now an activist on Human rights, prevailed over others.”
Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Films have produced this as a joint venture. Samuthirakani has essayed role of an Inspector. ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh and ‘Aadukalam’ Ramdoss are also part of the cast. Bankable sources said that the jury has appreciated work of cinematographer Ramalingam.
Visaranai movie has used an unconventional narration technique and sleek visuals. Visaranai is a tale of a tragic, unjust incident. The movie will release soon for Tamil Audience and Producer Dhanush is just looking for the right time to release the movie.
