After the film making of Tanu Weds Manu, Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut are considered to act for its extension, Tanu Weds Manu Returns under the direction of Anand L. Rai. First part had a climax after the marriage function of Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) and Manu (Madhavan).
There may not be happy ending for every story and in the same way, director thought for an extension. From 2011 to 2015, after four years of journey, Tanu was complaining about Manu’s weight and Manu became interested in another women. And the story looks like a triangle love story without a triangle.

Madhavan is an excellent actor as known from his previous movies; his role in TWM required him to be like a simplistic guy enthralled by a bubbly Tanu. He did he role better. Kangana Ranaut continues to slay and this girl is amazing. The way Kangana speaks hariyanvi!! And pappi ji says,”kya kya kya kya kya… kya…. kya soch rahe ho? Is funny and drawing audience interest to watch what happens next. Each and every character in the film performed in a better manner and is considered to be a super hit movie in Bollywood.
