The much awaited TE3N official Trailer starring Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqi, and Vidya Balan is out.
TE3N Official Trailer begins with a shot of a forlorn looking Amitabh Bachchan sitting in front of a tape recorder listening to the voice of his little granddaughter Angel playing from a cassette. Angel is heard saying, ‘I should have listened to you.’ The trailer then makes a zip, zap, zoom into giving us a sneak peak of the movie
The movie is about a grandfather’s relentless quest for justice. John Biswas (Amitabh Bachchan) loses his granddaughter, Angela in a kidnapping incident 8 years ago. However, he does not give up and visits the police station daily where he is ignored and not taken seriously. His only hope is Father Martin (Nizamuddin), an ex-cop turned priest. He too has suffered a deep impact by Angela’s kidnapping. After 8 years, the same crime is repeated and John sets out on an investigation of his own to find the culprit. Vidya Balan, as the cop Sarita Sarkar, adds the right touch of intensity to the plot.
TE3N was slated for a May 20 release. However, when it came to light that it would clash with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Sarbjit, her father-in-law asked the makers to postpone the date of its release.
