It is not at all an early period in Silicon Valley to turn into an entrepreneur. Shubham Banerjee, a 13 year old boy tends to start a company by means of elevation in inventing “Lego Braille Printer” that works on Lego robotics.

A boy belongs to California from higher school; 13 year old has invented his machine, Braille printer, the writing system for blind that works under the Lego robotics. He launched a company to introduce the low cost machineries to the world that can be available to every needy one. The technical company, Intel Crop recently invested in his starter company, Braigo Labs.

The boy invented the Braille printer with a Lego robotics kit for his science fair project held in school last year. He got that idea when he asked his parents how a blind person can read. They told him to search in ‘Google’. Then he started his research on it and learned about the Braille printers which are even called as embossers, the minimum cost of $2K which is too expensive mainly in developing nations.

So, he developed a printer on that basis for only $350 which is four times less than the original price by using the Lego robotics, Lego Mind storms EV3 kit. It just weighs a few pounds when the present models available in the market. They weigh more than nine kilograms.

Shubham Benerjee named that as the Braigo that which combines with the name of Braille and the Lego. He won many awards and got the support from the blind community. Then he started the Braigo labs in last summer with an initial investment of $35K from his father. The latest model, Braigo 2.0 has the capability to translate the electronic text into Braille before printing.

The executives of Intel were very impressed with Shubham’s printer and in November they invested an anonymous of money amount in his start up. Intel officials have faith that he is the youngest entrepreneur to get the project capital, amount invested in trade for a financial wager in the company.
