The newly formed Telangana state has been released the new list of holidays for the year 2016 through its official web portal. The Government has released the list of general holidays for the year 2016 and generally these holidays can be applicable for Government organizations and private organizations.

Many students, Government employees, Private sector people, and Software candidates are looking for Holidays every year to arrange pre plan for journeys and applying for leaves. Now keeping this in mind, Government of Telangana has declared the 2016 Holidays and festival list yesterday. Sankranti: January 15th, Friday

Republic Day: January 26th, Tuesday

Maha Shivaratri: March 7th, Monday

Holi: March 23rd, Wednesday

Good Friday: March 25th, Friday

Babu Jagjvan Ram Jayanti: April 5th, Tuesday

Ugadi: Aprl 8th, Friday

Dr BR Ambedkar Jayanti: April 14th, Thursday

Sri Rama Navami: April 15th, Friday

Ramzan (Id-Ul-Fitr): July 6th, Wednesday

Following Day of Ramzan: July 7th, Thursday
