Telangana: Godavari Pushkaralu is to start in the month of July, 2015 and thinking to invite seers, President and Prime Minister of the country for the first time of Pushkaralu at Telengana Godavari after achieving statehood.

Telangana Godavari Pushkaralu will be in the month of July, 2015. TS government has been planning to organise ‘Kumbh Mela’ and has decided to invite seers of major spiritual places across the country along with President, Prime Minister for the 12 day event, which is commencing on 14th July, 2015.

TS government conducted review meeting on Friday; Minister of Housing and Endowments A. Indrakaran Reddy asked authorities to complete works regarding event and directed that to finish by 15th, June. From 15th May onwards he will personally observe works in Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam districts.

TS government is speeding works for Pushkaralu such as construction of bathing Ghats, laying roads and others to have the event peacefully without any inconvenience. TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to invite seers across the country and president of India as the chief guest for the first time of Pushkaralu at Telengana Godavari after achieving statehood. And state is asking Center government to sanction more funds for organizing the event.

KCR asked officials to invite Peetaadhipathis of Kanchi, Sringeri and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy for Pushkaralu and directed the team led KV Ramana Chary to personally pay an attention regarding this. He asked officials to take care about facilities at event and asked to run a campaign to make people participate in event.
