Hyderabad: Telangana government has released a Police notification on Thursday for filling up 9, 281 posts of various cadres in the departments. All information regarding these posts is available on www.tslprb.in and 11th Jan 2016 is the starting date for payment of a fee as well as submission of application, and 4th Feb 2016 is the last date. The written Test of Preliminary Written Test will be conducted on 3rd April 2016 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM so candidates should download the hall ticket one week before the exam.
J Purnachandra Rao who is the Telangana Police Notification 2016 Board Chairman announced on Thursday recruitment details that Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (Civil) (Men and Women) 1,810 vacancies, for SCT Police Constable (AR)(Men and Women) 2, 760, SCT Police Constable (SAR CPL) (Men) 56, SCT Police Constable (TSSP) (Men) 4, 065 in police department, Constable (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF) 174 posts, Firemen in Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department 416 posts.
He also told that candidates should pay the fee online via Mee Seva/e-Seva/TS ONLINE/ AP ONLINE centres or via payment gateway (Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking). After getting the payment receipt, applicants should fill the application form through the official website i.e. www.tslprb.in.
The application fee for OC/BC will be Rs. 400/- and for SC/ST Rs. 200/- for the post of Police Constable and the upper age limit has been enhanced by the government by three years. The 5km and 2.5km have been deleted for all posts and instead of that a preliminary written with minimum qualifying marks of 40% for OC, BC 35%, SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen will be organized.
For women, 33.3% reservation will be in Civil Police and Communication and FPB 10 per cent. As per the revised rules applicants should qualify 3 out of 5 events in Physical Efficiency Test for PC (Civil) post and Women candidates should clear 2 out of 3.
