Chennai: The director Vetrimaaran of Visaranai movie for which Dhanush produced this Tamil Cinema has bagged Cinema for Human Rights award at Film festival and the director thanked team members.
Attakathi Dinesh, Anandhi and Aadukalam Murugadoss have done lead roles in the movie ‘Visaranai’ and actor Samuthirakani has done a crucial role. The movie recently won “Cinema for Human Rights” award in 72nd Venice Film Festival.
Pradeesh Raj, Ajay Ghosh, Misha Ghoshal, Kishore, E.Ramdoss were part of the cast. The movie is produced as a joint venture by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Films. Vetrimaaran penned the screenplay for M.Chandra Kumar’s story.
The director, Vetrimaaran has now took Twitter to thank the people after bagging award at Film festival. The director’s tweet is given below,
