There is no need for protests – Ranveer Singh

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh Bajirao Mastani faced some release issues and few shows were canceled in Pune. Ranveer Singh Responds on this and said there is no need for protests.
‘Bajirao Mastani’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is getting praises from all over. Ranveer Singh’s three year hard work with bald head has finally paid off. Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra were also happy with the critical reception.

But at the same time, shows were cancelled in Pune due to protests and this has affected the collections considerably. These protests have disturbed the male protagonist Ranveer Singh. He said, “The feeling is definitely negative because someone is protesting when you never had any such intentions.

We all work with our heart and soul to entertain and make a good movie. You work with such sincere hard work and dedication and when this negativity is created, there is a huge buzz.

Five shows of the film were cancelled in Pune on Friday after about 150 workers of Bharatiya Janata Party were objecting the portrayal of Peshwa Bajirao I and e other aspects of the Peshwa era in the movie. Even before release, there were lots of negative comments with respect to altered facts. Priyanka Chopra however lashed out at those critics.
