Chennai: Kollywood much-anticipated movies Kabali and Theri has created a huge buzz and reports said that both movies satellite rights sold out to a Malaysian distribution company.

The next big thing in Kollywood is definitely Vijay’s ‘Theri’ and Rajini’s ‘Kabali’. Both Kabali and Theri have hiked their own set of expectations. Rajini’s ‘Kabali’ already gained more attention. ‘Kabali’ is directed by ‘Madras’ fame Pa.Ranjith. Radhika Apte is pairing with Rajini.

Santosh Narayanan scored tunes. KL Praveen is the editor. ‘Kalaipuli’ S.Dhanu funds the project under ‘V’ creations banner. Kishore, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh Ravi, Dhansika, John Vijay are part of the cast. The movie is nearing completion.

Similarly, Vijay’s ‘Theri’ is an unofficial remake of Vijaykanth’s ‘Chatriyan’. Atlee is shaping the movie. G.V.Prakash scores music. Recently he revealed that he completed composing tunes for the movie. He also said that a teaser will be revealed soon.
Now we hear that the rights of both Kabali and Theri have been bagged by a leading Malaysian company for a whopping price. The exact price was not revealed. As expected both the movies are touted to be summer releases. Watch out this space for more updates.
