Chennai: Vijay Sethupathi is going to be seen in a cop uniform for his upcoming film titled as Sethupathi that is directed by ‘Panniyarum Padminiyum’ fame Director Arun Kumar.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi is known for portraying variety of roles. The actor has handful of movies under his pipeline and amongst them ‘Mellisai’ and ‘Nanaum Rowdy Thaan’ are ready for a release. At the same time, his next venture under Nalan Kumaramsamy has also been completed.

It is reported yesterday that the movie was titled as ‘Kaadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’. The movie is in post-production stage and will be ready for a release soon. Now the actor is ready with his next project where he will wear ‘Khakhi’ for the first time. It is already reported that Vijay Sethupathi will essay role of a cop in his upcoming movie titled as ‘Sethupathi’.

‘Panniyarum Padminiyum’ fame Director Arun Kumar will helm the project. Remya Nambeesan will pair opposite Vijay Sethupathi and she will be doing the female lead role. This is the second time, the duo comes together. Earlier they paired for ‘Pizza’. Nivas Prasanna who gave some mesmerizing tunes in ‘Thegidi’ will be composing music. National Award winning director Sreekar Prasad will handle the cuts and Dinesh Krishnan will take care of cinematography.

The shooting started yesterday and the first schedule is expected to take place for a period of 12 days. Vijay Sethupathi was spotted in the sets wearing a Pink shirt with his trademark beard. The female lead was not on the sets. Inside sources revealed that this movie will be a milestone in Vijay Sethupathi’s career.
