Hyderabad: Tirupati TTD is planning to construct a grand temple of lord Balaji. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam receives Rs 12 Crore and Place for temple may be Banjara Hills.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam which is popular pilgrimage center in India is planning to construct another grand temple in Hyderabad. TTD has land of 3.5 acres in Hyderabad Banjara Hills Road No. 12 which is dedicated and has been lying vacant for many years.
“Today Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam accepted Rs. 12 crores to construct grand own temple of Lord Venkateswara as well as Rs. 4.7 crore for Lord Mahaganapathi shrine in Hyderabad” said TTD Chairman K Bapiraju to reporters.
It is known to everyone that TTD already runs a Balaji Bhavan in Hyderabad at Himayatnagar. This proposal decided unanimously by Trust board so that decided to build Ghanpathi temple also. The trust has ready to spend Rs. 13.89 crores to construct the Lord Balaji Temple.
As per TTD sources the construction will be started soon. Actually, local officials in Hyderabad implied pressure that they taken back the land if TTD not fulfill the project. After completion of more discussion, finally officials of Tirupati TTD go head to construct the Lord Balaji Temple.
In November 2012, it decided to build replica shrine of Balaji in Mumbai and in Puducherry. Sources of TTD said that building of such immense shrines in progress in Hayana, Kurukeshtra, Tamil Nadu and Kanyakumari.
For forming Arvind Eye Care of Madurai hospital in Tirupati, the TTD has also made a decision to allocate 7 acres land. Arvind Eye care will cater need of people including a huge numbers of devotees spend Rs. 100 crore. Here, thing is, TTD will collect nominal money of Rs. 1 lakh from hospital management per year.
