Mumbai-based NGO doctors responded to an application filed, the Union Ministries of Environment and health as well as Central Pollution Control Board has been directed by NGT for filing their reaction on a cigarette, bidi butts and chewing tobacco caused hurt to the environment.

Most of the hospital and corridors in the city are huge dirty with tobacco splits and other tobacco products. Banning publicly is the way to control this tobacco litter, said Ganguly.
