RIP – Tollywood Comedian Kallu Chidambaram Passes Away

Vizag: Kallu Chidambaram death shocked entire Telugu film industry. Tollywood veteran comedian Kallu passed away at 70 after suffering from respiratory problems.

Veteran comedy actor of Tollywood Kallu Chidambaram has passed away today at Vizag. He was suffering from respiratory problems for many days and finally he took his last breath on Monday morning 10 AM.

He was 70 years old and acted in many popular Telugu films.  Kallu Chidamabaram is taking treatment for past three months in Vizag for respiratory problems and finally died on October 19 at 10 Am in Visakhapatnam.

His native place is Visakhapatnam and before eh entering into movies, he worked as an employee in Vizag Airport. He was born on October 10th, 1945 and his fist movie named as Kallu that brought laurel to him and it has been changed as his sir name.

The movies that brought him name included Kallu, Ammoru, Chanti, Money, Govinda Govinda, Pelli Sandadi, Pavitrabandham, Aa Okkati Adakku, April 1 vidudala. The last movie he acted is Sai Sankalpam.

He was acted in a movie “Kallu” which was directed by Raghu and after that he was seen in many popular movies. He was received Nandi and Kala Sagar awards for his mark comedy and in the span of his film career, he was acted nearly 300 movies.

In the recent times, Telugu film industry is losing many popular comedians and actors like MS Narayana, AVS, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Telangana Shakuntala, Laxmi Pathi etc. Now losing another comedian like Kallu Chidambaram is surely a big loss to the film industry. Definitely Industry was lost a big comedian.
