Hyderabad, July 16: TS EAMCET web counselling 2015 dates to be released soon by JNTU Hyderabad. It may conduct fresh review on disaffiliated colleges after high court’s green signal on EAMCET counselling.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University cancelled the affiliation of 25 private engineering colleges who has poor infrastructure and insufficient faculty and removed them from counselling process. The university has decided to conduct the Eamcet counselling for 2016-16 academic year from 8th July.
However the disaffiliated private engineering colleges moved to high court to get the green signal to participate in counselling process, due to this, JNTU postponed the counselling process. Then the bench ordered the university to make a fresh inspection on the disaffiliated colleges by teams comprising members who nominated by the AICTE and the university.
On 7th July, court passed on interim order and directing the JNTU-H to include private engineering colleges whose affiliation was cancelled for this academic session and grant the provisional affiliation to such institutes which had been running for the past three years. The court also directed the AICTE to undertake verification of disaffiliation colleges.
The bench ordered the AICTE to constitute a minimum of 25 committees with two members from AICTE and one from the JNTU-H to carry out the inspection and asked to submit report before 1st August.
The bench order the colleges to pay Rs 2 lakh as inspection fee and directed the committee to conduct inspection with prior notice of 48 hours to the concerned colleges. The bench also ordered the colleges to inform the JNTU-H whether they intend to withdraw any courses by 10:30 am on July 16. And the court posted the later matter to 3rd August for further hearing.
