Hyderabad: Telangana government has sanctioned Rs.100 cr for a drinking water project at Patancheru, Minister for Irrigation T. Harish Rao announced it.
Addressing the meeting Minister for Irrigation, T. Harish Rao on the occasion of Prof. kothpalli Jayashankar 81st Jayanthi celebration said that, the Telangana government would follow the footsteps. He added that, government has sanctioned Rs.100 crore for a drinking water project at Patancheru.
He added that, to solve the drinking water problem at Patancheru, Ramachandrapuram and villages in the limits of Outer Ring Road, the TS government had expected to provide water facility, for this it has sanctioned Rs.100 crore and the project will be finished within one year.
Minister is also promise for a by-pass road to Patancheru and allocation of 12 acres of land for vegetable market and market yard. He added that, the state government is already sanctioned Rs.2.5 crore for remodeling of three tanks and they would be developed as mini tank bunds. He also promised for development programmes at Patancheru and for improved facilities at the hospitals in the area.
According the Minister announcement, primary health centers (PHCs) with six-beds will be upgraded to 30-bedded and district hospitals to 1000 –bedded hospitals shortly in coming days.
