TS Govt with STPI Launches Gaming, Animation Incubator at Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Telangana Government has started gaming, animation incubator at Hyderabad with STPI. This is the first step towards the developing the animation city and gamming, said IT minister K Taraka Ramarao.

Telangana government is taking another step to make Hyderabad capital of the country. The TS govt has started an incubation facility along with STPI for commencing especially in gaming and animation.

The director of Software Technology Parks, CVD Ramprasad said that the IT hub, expanded over 30, 000 square feet in Hitec City, the services was developed at a cost of Rs. 8 crores. Modernization in Animation, Multimedia, Entertainment & Gaming, as the services is known, and can seat 232 new companies in this sector.

The services will create the eco-system to the new players for working under the umbrella T-Hub. This will start exactly after completion of the inauguration of T-Hub and it will call largest technology incubator in the country.

The Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rao said that this was the first step regarding the development with introducing gaming and animation city. He also added that the conference on animation, gaming, multimedia and visual effects will be conducted in next year February.

The foundation stone for coinciding with the conference will lay for animation city and gaming and will be known as IMAGE.

IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan said that Hyderabad will become a turn on capital of the country in real terms and there was no city which was an encouraging development, entrepreneurship and innovation in this big way.
