TSPSC Group 2 syllabus 2016 – State government of Telangana has brought multiple changes to the examination conducted on behalf of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) in group 2 exam. Updated exam syllabus is given here.
The non-executive posts of Group-II are removed and added under a new category called Group-III. For Group 2 posts the candidates will be selected based on the written exam and Interview. All applied aspirants are advised to check the below given information and know about the exam syllabus and paper pattern. Group-2 examination consists of Part-A (Objective Type Test) and Part-B (Interview). Here we will discuss Part-A syllabus and pattern.
Part A Consist of four papers i.e Paper 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- The examination is completely Objective type
- Question Paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions
- The exam will conduct on OMR Sheet (Pen & paper)
- Part- A – consists of 600 Marks each paper consist of 150 marks.
Duration of examination 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper
Parts B consist of Interview for 75 Marks.

PART – A WRITTEN EXAMINATION (Objective Type) Consist 4 Papers for – 600 Marks
Paper 1: General Studies and General Ability: This paper consist of 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks with 2:30 time duration.
Paper 2: History, Polity and Society: This paper consist of 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks with 2:30 time duration.
Paper 3: Economy and Development: This paper consist of 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks with 2:30hrs time duration.
Paper 4: Telangana movement and State Formation: This paper consist of 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks with 2:30hrs time duration.
PART – B Interview – 75 Marks
