Twitter has introduced four regional languages including Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi and Tamil on its platform for Web and Android using gadgets.
Micro blogging site Twitter is now available in other four regional languages, earlier it was supported the English and Hindi, now as per new updates it supports other four languages including Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi and Tamil on the web and Android. Four additional languages in Twitter were partially translated through its Translation center.
As per micro-blogging, twitter.com was updated with additional languages and Android app is also supported these additional languages. With this new update, now the micro-blogging site supports six Indian languages along with Hindi and Bengali.
No additional settings are necessary to use Twitter in native language, in order the change the language, users have to select their choice from settings option in the drop down menu of the profile. Android users can easily change the language settings on their mobile devices to any of these additional languages.
India is the second highest Twitter user base in the Asia-Paciffic, as per reports around 2.2 million users are using twitter services this year and it was increased by 30% than last year. According to the research and analyst firm Emarketer Inc estimations the user base may increase to 40 million by 2018 year. At present twitter have over 300 million users.
