UP 1st Day Collection amounted to nearly Rs. 20 crores. After much controversy, the movie got released into the theatres. The movie has overcome the Censor issue for its release. The Court case also came into the limelight before the release of the film.

Earlier, the news of movie leak in online did not reflect on the Udta Punjab 1st Day Collection. Though the movie has so many difficulties before the release itself, it has come out successfully and the box office collections on the first day of Udta Punjab are excellent. The Udta Punjab opening collections had made the movie makers happy, especially the Producer and director have expressed their joy over the performance of the film on the opening day.

Overseas / worldwide including USA, UAE – Rs. 8 Crores (approximately) and Rs. 3 Crores for Preview Collections

India collections – Rs. 10 Crores ( Alone in North states like Delhi and Punjab, the movie collected nearly Rs. 4 crores) – approx.

The overall collections have an estimate of Rs. 20 Crores plus. The movie has the success at the box office and hopefully the same may be continued  for the entire week. Totally 2000 screens are screening the film worldwide.
