Uttar Pradesh: UP State is going through a mega education scams which can be compared with Vyapam. Says Allahabad High Court judge here earlier this month.
The Uttar Pradesh Education Department faces severe critics regarding irregularities and big scale financial issues. Allahabad High Court early in July said that judges hearing two separate cases and point out that Education Scam in UP is big as Vyapam Scam in Madhya Pradesh.
The Allahabad High Court issued two orders in July stated that long-lasting negligence and scam in Education Department would be as big as Vyapam Scam or cash for jobs scam in Madhya Pradesh. On July 10th one court order passed to UP Education Department and dais that the department was involved in taking grants for schools and colleges and encourages cheating and copying in examinations and holding the salaries of temporary teachers. Another order issued on July 6th said that Government was violating the rules and regulations on selection of teachers and principals.
The Senior Judges of Allahabad High Court Rajesh Kumar and Shamsher Bahadur Singh, said that court will appoint a special panel to examine the scam and suggest schemes to control corruption in education. They also told to Chief Minister Akilesh Yadav to cancel releases on property and water taxes, which his Government grants to both aided and private educational schools and colleges.
Court will seriously point out these things in education sector of UP and taking actions as soon as possible.
