Chennai: In Ajith’s upcoming Tamil movie, Vidyu Raman is considered to play a role for comedy scenes, it also features Soori, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Kabir Singh, etc.

Vidyu Raman who is daughter of Mohan Ram has grabbed loads of attention as a comedy actress. Her stellar performance in ‘Inimey Ippadi Thaan’ got her lots of accolades and recently she appeared as comic character in Arya’s ‘Vasuvum Saravananum Onaa Padichaanga’. She is also a part of Vijay’s ‘Puli’ and appears in a dwarf role.

Ajith’s recent project ‘Thala 56’ is inching towards completion and movie progressed at jet speed. The final schedule is happening now and team has recently roped in the comedy actress Vidyu Raman. This news came as a shock for actress and a happy news for the rest.

Vidyu earlier worked with Ajith and Director Siva for ‘Veeram’ movie by pairing with Santhanam. Now as she gets back inside same team again, it is happy and to confirm news, when we buzzed Vidyu, she said, “I am very happy for having received this opportunity yet again. I play a small character that comes in the flashback during the second half of the movie.”

Soori, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Kabir Singh, Rahul Dev are part of the cast. AM Ratnam funds this project and Siva directs it. The first look posters are expected to release by Thursday. An official confirmation is awaited from the makers.
