Vijay Requests Media Not to Spread False News

Chennai: Kollywood star Vijay was shocked by reading his news for Income Tax raid that he is not paying taxes from past 5 years, for this, he requested media not to spread this type of false news.

It is reported already that Vijay will soon have interaction with fans as the negative vibes surrounding him is damn too high. We also said that the medium he uses will be either Twitter Chat or YouTube Video or at least an official press statement.

Now as reported, he issued a press statement. But in the statement he just has spoken about Income Tax raids and nothing about ‘Puli’. He never said that ‘Puli’ as a profitable venture or a failure. He just asked media to be sensible before providing false accusation.

In the press statement, he says, “Income Tax department conducting raids in the residences and officers of Producers, Actors, Actresses and Technicians is a common factor. The IT officials conducted raids at my residence and office to check whether I have paid my taxes regularly.

Myself, My family members and Office staff co-operated with the officials conducting the raid. But the next day I read news papers and was shell-shocked to know that I have never paid tax for the past five years. This is a false allegation which has zero truth. I am a law abiding citizen and I will always respect the law.

I am always submitting my IT returns with the details of my profession and income. It is an undeniable truth that I have been paying the Income Tax, property tax and professional tax payable by me every year without fail. I request media friends not to spread false allegations and add more worries.”
