Chennai: Kollywood top actor Vijay before his release of upcoming movie Puli went to a temple of SriVilliPuthur Aandaal at Virudhunagar district with a handkerchief covering his face in order not to be noticed by anyone.

Vijay’s ‘Puli’ is all set for a grand release day after tomorrow and everyone is excited about it. Vijay usually has a habit of visiting Velaankani Church before the release. But this time he visited Aandaal temple and has surprised everyone. Sources say he recently made a secret visit to SriVilliPuthur Aandaal temple which is at Virudhunagar district.

Vijay hide his face with handkerchief and went in a new disguise so that no one can identify him. Sources say he was spotted with three body guards. He straight away went to the temple priest and inquired about the history and so on. The priest identified that it was actor Vijay and he explained him about the great history and spiritual importance of temple.

Special Poojas were done for Vijay’s name and prayers were offered to God by Vijay. He also got special dharshan and we heard from sources that Vijay was at the temple for about 25 minutes. Later he moved out along with his body guards.

The news got leaked and fans rushed to get a glimpse of their favorite actor. Huge crowd arrived before the temple. But Vijay left the spot even before the crowd arrived. So fans returned with disappointment. Traffic Police were rushed to the spot and clear the crowd to avoid traffic. ‘Puli’ is releasing on October 1st across worldwide.
