Vijay’s Theri Telugu version Policeodu will release tomorrow and now the title has been changed as Police due to some social reasons.

Tamil Super Star Vijay ‘s latest Tamil movie “Theri” are going to release in the Telugu language also titled as” Policeodu. This title is getting quite a controversy from a couple of weeks.

As per reports, the police association of the Telugu states was irked by the Telugu title, since they felt it is disrespectful towards their profession. They reportedly have sent notices to Dil Raju to change the title of the film, as it has hurt their feelings.

Dil Raju who accepted their demands instantly discussed with the original makers and immediately changed the title to Police to avoid any unnecessary controversies in future. The movie will now be titled ‘Police’ in Telugu and will be hitting the theaters tomorrow without any change.

Sri Venkateswara Creations and Kalaipuli S Thanu will be releasing the Telugu version of the film. Atlee Kumar of Raja Rani Fame is the director. Vijay, Samantha, Amy Jackson, Prabhu, Radhika, Mahendran and other senior actors are playing important roles in this movie.
